Duties Reporting to the Vice-President for Administration and Business, the appointee will take charge of a wide spectrum of work in support of the strategy development and ongoing major projects. He/she should be highly experienced and motivated to co-ordinate a team of colleagues in developing and implementing relevant processes and ensuring the compliance of practice with the HKUST(GZ) policies/standards/regulations. Major responsibilities include:
1. Provide administrative and secretarial support to facilitate office’s operation; 2. Liaise with various units and stakeholders, and coordinate daily work; 3. Prepare committee papers and various reports; 4. Responsible for arranging meetings and preparing minutes; 5. Prepare various cooperation agreements and documents; 6. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualification Requirements 1. A good bachelor’s degree or above, with an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese is preferred); 2. Good IT and interpersonal skills are preferred; 3. At least 3-5 years working experience in large enterprises, government agencies and public institutions (Exceptional candidates who do not meet this requirement will also be considered); 4. Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, and with demonstrated ability to produce quality work independently and under tight timelines; 5. Capability of working efficiently and collaboratively in a dynamic and diverse work environment; 6. Strong desire to learn and self-drive.

This is a Mainland appointment, and the appointee will be offered a contract by HKUST(GZ) entity in accordance with the Mainland labor laws and regulations. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
