ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCES •A doctoral research (normally PhD) degree, of MFA (Master of Fine Art) plus experience, in digital arts, innovative entrepreneurship, interactive media or game design, animation, immersive media and sound, AR/VR/XR, media production, or be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of professional practice and engagement. •Self-motivated for innovative teaching, with knowledge of relevant developments in learning and teaching practices. •Clear understanding of the philosophy and concept of Syntegrative Education (SE). •For practice-based candidates, familiarity some of the fields of immersive media, interactive storytelling, game design and development, extended reality, digital media arts, sound studies, audiovisual production techniques, post-production, AI and GANs, networked art, innovative entrepreneurship, events and project management, as used in an educational setting. •Demonstrable past teaching/industry experiences or practices aligned with Syntegrative Education (SE). •A commitment to Continual Professional Development in all areas of the role as an academic at the university. •Ability to work, teach and research in English •Strong team-work spirit.
For senior positions, candidates should be able to demonstrate: •A track record of academic and/or industry achievement in a relevant context. •An understanding and delivery of innovative learning, teaching and assessment/measurement practice in an innovative environment. •Demonstrable experience of building strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
