Open Position in Brain-Inspired Computing
The ZJU-
Project Background and Aim:
The research focuses on developing next-generation computing approaches inspired by neuroscience advancements. Examples include neural information theory, spiking neural networks, quantum devices mimicking brain functions, new computer architectures based on neuronal structures, and heterogeneous integration techniques. The ideal candidate may have degrees in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, or mathematics.
Eligibility:
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in electrical engineering or a related field. Experience in both theoretical and computational methods (coding in in language like Python, MATLAB, C, FORTRAN, JULIA, or any standard scientific computing package) is essential. Experimental experience is also encouraged. Familiarity with computational methods and mathematical modeling is required. While knowledge on neuroscience is desirable, it is not mandatory; supervisors will provide guidance for those not familiar with the field.

- Applicants should demonstrate excellent academic performance and research capability, be diligent, active, responsible, and possess a good spirit of teamwork.
- Fluent spoken English and excellent English writing skills are necessary.
Compensation and Living Environment:
Successful candidates will be offered an annual salary package ranging between 240,000 and 440,000 CNY, along with subsidized housing.
